Beyond Brain Injury: ABI Ambassadors

Community Education Team (CET)

Headstart’s CET started in 1987 and comprises people with an ABI who receive training and support to deliver this innovative and creative project.  Our commitment is to people living with a brain injury AND we are heartily committed to prevention.

My advice is don’t ride a motorbike. Or if you do wear proper safety gear and a helmet.

For a community to be inclusive, its members need to have understanding and knowledge.  Over thirty plus years the team have consisted of dozens of members who have given hundreds of presentations across NSW. This includes schools, Traffic Offender Programmes,  different faculties at Universities, other organisations, at forums, Football Clubs, Drive Alive Programmes and more.

Get in touch if you are interested in engaging the Community Education Team, we are happy to adapt our presentation for your audience.
