Physical and sensory changes
- Impaired sight, hearing, smell, taste or touch 
- Slow or slurred speech 
- Paralysis 
- Reduced control of movements co-ordination of limbs 
- Fatigue 
Cognitive changes
- Memory problems 
- Reduced concentration and attention 
- Difficulties with organisation, problem solving and decision making 
- Reduced motivation 
- Word finding difficulties 
- Slowed thinking 
Personality changes
- Impulsive in actions and thoughts 
- Reduced tolerance to frustration 
- Reduced insight or less able to see the effect of their behaviour on others 
- Less control over emotions and behaviour
