Current job opening: Casual Community Support Workers (CSW) required for immediate start in the Port Stephens area.

Do you have initiative, a sense of fun and able to motivate people to achieve their goals? Are you looking for a role working within an energetic team supporting people with an Acquired Brain Injury to become more independent in their lives and local community? Headstart supports people with an ABI to pursue activities of choice in the community and re-develop independent life skills.

We are looking for applicants to join our organisation and provide quality support enabling people to live the life they choose. The initial shifts would be a minimum of 24 hours per week Monday to Friday starting at 9am, please only apply if you are able to fulfil this requirement.

Essential criteria for this exciting role: 
• good communication and team skills
• commitment to consumer driven services
• knowledge of community resources
• driver’s licence
• Working with Children Check
• current cleared Police check
• access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
• willingness to drive a service vehicle and First Aid Certificate.

Salary: SCHCADS Award Level 2 PP1
